Colorless hygroscopic solid;

The content in vinegar is 3%-6%;

Pure ones will freeze into ice when it is lower than 16.6°C;

Pure anhydrous acetic acid is a colorless hygroscopic solid;

It turns into colorless crystals after solidification;

Its aqueous solution is of weakly acidic and highly corrosive;

Its irritating vapor has effect to our eyes and nose.

Effect

Used as acidity regulator, acidulant, pickling agent, flavor enhancer, spice, etc.;

Allows the pH to be lowered below that required for optimal microbial growth;

It is mainly used in compound seasoning, wax preparation, canned food, cheese, jelly, etc. It is the earliest and most used sour agent in China;

Acetic acid solution diluted to 4%~5% will be added to various seasonings;

Use vinegar as a sour agent, supplemented with pure natural nutrition and health products to make beverages;

Warning

Should be worn special gloves, such as nitrile rubber gloves, when handling highly purified acetic acid;

Should be operated under goggles when handling Acetic Acid with aconcentration of more than 25%

Dilute acetic acid solutions, such as vinegar, are harmless;

Ingestion of high-concentration acetic acid solution is harmful to human and animal health.
